The launch date for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is near in UK

From 3rd August onwards Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available at PC World and Currys. As all know it was launched way back in US now it will have the availability in UK as well.

It is being assumed to be offered with the Android 3.1 upgrade albeit it’s not been confirmed yet. The places where it will be available are Currys and PC World, where you'll be able to buy the long awaited model. If you wish for it on the first day itself then you have to visit the Currys and PC World Tottenham Court Road branch in London. It will be available there from 5pm and you can avail it directly. The launch of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is so huge that it sounds like the iPad 2 launch, however nothing to be except like the queues or hype.

If you are on a mind to take the Wi-Fi version then it will be available from 4th August in all the Currys and PC World stores across the country. You must be assuming about its price? As per the model it will be stated while the starting price is £399.

In a nutshell we can presume the slimline tablet is a 10.1-inch tablet with Android Honeycomb for the OS, complete with a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. Now the question is will it be able to compete with the iPad 2? It might or might not, but the main fixation is whether it makes any difference in the heart of the public.
