Although, some of the latest launched smartphones of Xperia line-up were supposed to get the new firmware update i.e. Android v2.3.4 OS in the next month of October, Sony Ericsson has surprised everyone by releasing Xperia neo with software update ahead of the schedule. It is one of the Xperia smartphones which hits the market with this upgraded Platform. The update brings the firmware version from 4.0.A.2.368 to 4.0.1.A.0.283. Other handsets will also get this update very soon. This upgraded version allows the customers to enjoy video chatting from from Google Talk along with 3D Sweep Panorama camera feature, swype text input method, built-in screen capture function and improvements to the social networking site integration like Facebook.
