Nokia launches affordable smartphone, Lumia 710 in London

Nokia has showcased the new and more affordable Lumia 710, running on the Windows Phone 7 operating system.

Made of plastic, it flaunts a 3.7-inches screen, with rounded edges. It certainly isn’t a revolutionary device, in terms of appearance, but it comes out to be tough.

Wondering about the color options? Well, Nokia will provide several back covers. So, you can choose your favorite from the options available.

A 5 Mp camera is present at the back, while a powerful processor at 1.4 Ghz is appreciated. The internal memory space is 8 GB, with no option to expand it further.

The Windows Phone 7 operating system seems same, while the touchscreen fails to response in the way other WP7 handsets do. But, the keyboard is impressive.

But, the main attraction of this handset is its price, which is affordable than other Windows phones in the market. We are not saying that it is very cheap, but the cost can attract a lot of potential smartphone buyers, which is a good news for Nokia.
