RIM & Telefonica Digital have declared their intentions to check the Telefonica Wallet for NFC-featured BlackBerry handsets, which can allow payments via an easy tap of the phone on the reader.
The test will happen in Spain.
Local banks & stores are also helping Research in Motion & Telefonica on this trial. This test will include 350 Telefonica workers. With a BlackBerry operating system 7-based gadget, employees will process several transactions which are supposed to be simple, convenient and secure.
This upcoming Wallet will work on the BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Curve 9380 & BlackBerry Curve 9360. The Bold 9360 & Curve 9900 were released a few months back.
The United Kingdom must be getting this innovative virtual Wallet from BlackBerry soon.
