Lenovo betting on LePhone S2, 3.8 inches and Gingerbread confirmed

Lenovo showcased Lephone S2 in the month of November, however since then we have no clue whatsoever about the gadget. At CES 2012, the corporation showcased it & affirmed the specifications. Coming as the Lenovo S2 (dropping the LePhone brand), the phone flaunts a 3.8’’ WVGA screen & works on the heavily customized Android v2.3 Gingerbread OS. The aim of this device is to provide corporate security as it comes with a kernel-level security system for improved security of the users data.

The Lenovo S2 works on the 1.4GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, powering it to thrill users senses. The handset is anticipated to land in two editions: you can choose 512MB of RAM & 8 gigs of internal memory space, & the other one with a 1 GB of RAM & 16 GB of memory space.

The 3.8 inches and the Android Gingerbread flavor pushes it in the mid-range smartphone category.
